Privacy policy

10xDebuggable (“we”, “us”) operates https://10xdebuggable.dev. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights below, write to contact@10xdebuggable.dev.

Account data. When you sign up we store your email address, and — if you sign in with GitHub — your GitHub username and avatar URL. We never receive your GitHub password, and we do not request write access to your repositories.

Activity data. Which challenges you start, the submissions you send (the repository URL, branch name and your written explanation), reviewer feedback, and the questions or replies you post publicly on a ticket.

Technical data. Standard server logs — IP address, browser user agent, pages requested and timestamps — kept for security and debugging.

We do not collect payment details, because the platform is free during early access. We do not ask for your date of birth, phone number or physical address.

• To run your account, show your dashboard and record your progress
• To review your submissions and send you feedback
• To display public information: your username and avatar on the leaderboard, and on any question or reply you post
• To understand which challenges people finish, so we can write better ones
• To keep the service secure and to investigate abuse

Our legal basis is the contract between us when you use the service, and our legitimate interest in keeping it working and safe.

Your username, avatar, leaderboard standing, and anything you post in a ticket's questions section are visible to other visitors, including people who are not signed in. Your email address, your submissions and the reviewer feedback on them are not.

We set a cookie to keep you signed in — without it, authentication cannot work. We also store your light or dark theme preference in your browser's local storage; that never leaves your device.

If we show advertising, our advertising partners may set their own cookies. See the advertising section below.

We may display advertising served by third parties, including Google. Third-party vendors, Google included, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers needed to run the service:

• Supabase — database, authentication and hosting of your account data
• Our hosting provider — serving the application and storing server logs
• GitHub — only if you choose to sign in with it, or when you link a repository to a submission
• Advertising and analytics partners, where used, as described above

Account and activity data is kept while your account exists. Server logs are kept for a short operational period and then discarded. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data; questions you posted publicly may remain with the author shown as a deleted user, so existing discussions still make sense.

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Email contact@10xdebuggable.dev and we will respond within 30 days.

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

If we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, tell you in the product. Continuing to use 10xDebuggable after a change means you accept the updated policy.
